The West, in its vastness and diversity, its history and the immense wonder of it all, inspires me to express those qualities on canvas, to be enjoyed every day by the viewer. Using cold wax medium with oil paints on canvas leaves a texture and depth to the paint that expresses movement and emotion that draws the viewer in and makes them feel like they're there, in the scene.
